However, we understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations. This Refund & Return Policy outlines the conditions under which you can return a product and request a refund or replacement.

2. Eligibility Criteria for Returns & Refunds

We accept returns and issue refunds or replacements under the following specific circumstances:

  • Damaged or Defective Products: If you receive a packet that is torn, punctured, unsealed, or if the product inside is stale, spoiled, or shows signs of quality compromise.
  • Incorrect Product Shipped: If you receive a flavor or product variant that differs from what you ordered.
  • Missing Items: If any item from your confirmed order is missing from the delivery package.

Important Conditions:

  • You must notify our customer service team within 48 hours of receiving the delivery.
  • You must provide clear unboxing photographic or video evidence of the issue (e.g., damaged packaging, incorrect item, spoiled product) along with your order number.
  • The product must be in its original, unopened packaging (except to demonstrate the defect).

3. Step-by-Step Return Process

  1. Contact Us: Immediately email info@thehonestbasket.com with your Order ID and a detailed description of the issue, attaching supporting images/videos.
  2. Request Validation: Our support team will review your request and evidence, and may request additional information if needed. We aim to respond within 24-48 business hours.
  • Resolution Path:
  • Replacement: For damaged/incorrect items, we will typically dispatch a correct replacement at extra shipping cost as soon as your claim is approved.
  • Refund: If a replacement is not possible or preferred, we will initiate a refund to your original payment method.
  • Return of Physical Goods: In rare cases where we require the physical return of the product (e.g., for high-value incorrect shipments), we will provide a prepaid return shipping label and instructions.

4. Non-Returnable Situations

Due to the nature of our food products, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds for:

  • Change of Mind or Flavor Preference: Orders placed for a specific flavor that you later decide you do not like.
  • Partial Consumption: Products where the primary packaging seal has been broken, or the item has been partially or fully consumed.
